I have spent many years training there and can confidently say that their coaching, facilities, and programs are fantastic! “This was my 4-year-old’s first series of gymnastics classes, and she loved them! It was great to get exercise, learn stretches, and build confidence beginning hand stands, forward rolls, cartwheels, and experiencing rings, bars, beams, trampolines, and all kinds of climbing! It also helped my daughter to learn to listen to her instructor, follow directions, and take turns!! Her instructor was fun, patient, inspiring, and great with little kids!” - Trisha Van Selus

Went to an open gym for my 4 and 9yr old and they loved it. The staff was very nice and helpful. We plan on going again and possibly enrolling our daughter.” - Joshua S.

“My daughter started at Mt. Baker when she was 3 after trying a toddler class at another local gym. Wasn't thrilled with the other one but loved MBG as soon as we walked in. Over the last 7 years my daughter has taken breaks from gymnastics to pursue other activities but keeps coming back. She spent about a year at another gym but after getting really frustrated with their staff and policies we called Gordy and came back to MBG. She has improved more at just a few months at MBG than she had at the other place. She is happy, focused, and building skills as welk as friendships. Gordy and the staff really care about what is best for the kids. We love it!” - Breanne D.

“I chose Mt Baker because of the professionalism of the person who answered the phone and helped me figure out the best classes for my two girls. We stayed because the teachers were so kind and attentive and made sure my girls used good form and learned proper technique. They were never pushed to do more than they were comfortable doing, and always had fun. We go back every summer for lessons, and the girls actually say "I miss Mt Baker" when we've been away too long.
It's obvious there is a lot of talent in the staff as they demonstrate technique and we love to watch the older kids - we feel like we have front row seats at the Olympics every session!” - Lisa S.

“Gordy is a talented coach. He is clear, fair, and kind. This gym feels like a family. It's a precious dynamic. This is the cleanest gym I have been in. The open gym is free for team members, plus it's two hours a week. There are coaches available during open gym for guidance. Anybody can show up for open gym. I think it's about $8 for an hour. It's awesome for toddlers and teenagers. Little kids are free to build obstacle courses with mats, swing from silks hung from the rafters, or try out the gymnastics equipment. Their team fees are the most reasonable around. Kids LOVELOVELOVE open gym. If you have a child, you must bring them to open gym I on Fridays at 7 to let them try out the long tumbling trampoline. They will love it. You don't get to play on cool stuff like this anywhere else.” - Christie L.

“They are excellent with my daughter very kind and patient. They are always punctual and willing to help her. They are great with all the kids I see them with and looking to better themselves and others.” - James P.

Owner and head coach Gordy Bylin taught my daughter gymnastics.  She ended her competitive career as a level 9 artistic gymnast and she also competed and placed at Nationals in Trampoline and Tumbling.  Gordy's passion for gymnastics, quality instruction and team building is second to none in Skagit County!  Plus, Mt. Baker Gymnastics has great summer camps for kids and birthday parties year-around.  Check them out on Facebook and on their website!” - Jay J.
